I won’t take you step by step and ride by ride through our entire day yesterday today. The whole day was quite amazing though! Getting the bad out of the way, I will say my feet have been through the ringer. I woke up with some weird things happening in my left foot (maybe some past broken foot pains creeping up). I spent most of the morning only stepping on the ball of my foot.
We utilized our hotel early park admission with an early start to our day, getting on and off our first ride in 15 minutes time. The kids were kind enough to let me ride a couple big coasters and the best part happened right before I went on the Velocicoaster. I wanted to know the fastest way to get to the ride to maximize our time before the park officially opened to the general public.
I asked a team member and she was about to tell us, then she smiled and said, “why don’t you just follow me this way!” She took us back to a gate and down about ten feet to another gate and we ended up right at the coaster. Without struggling through crowds and two lands in the park. This saved us probably 30 minutes of walking, and gave us the coolest behind the scenes experience!
We then headed to the Pternonodon Flyers in Jurassic Kids Park for a ride made for Ada. This ride is unique in that only riders from 36” to 56” inches can ride. They get to take one adult. Ada is one of the lucky few who is above 54” to be able to ride all the rides in the park, and also just under 56” to be able to REALLY ride all the rides in the park. This one took us soring high above all of Jurassic World.

We hit up Marvel World for an early lunch and Noah had time to peruse the best Comic book store he has ever seen. More time afforded to me by my kids to ride the Hulk, my favorite coaster of all time! And back to the car to rest at the condo before our evening.

I certainly needed this time to rest my feet and even soaked my feet in ice cold water. Ada and I took naps and Noah caught up on new episodes of Obi Wan Kanobi and Ms Marvel.

A long lived thunderstorm came through and we headed back around 5pm. I made a quick inventory of money before we left and told the kids how much souvenir money they had left. Ada found hers at the Hello Kitty store and it is perfect for her.

Ada and I thoroughly enjoyed ET Adventure and may ride it again today. We are trying to convince Noah to go even though he finds ET creepy. Did the Simpson’s and nearby rides to cover our bases.
We grabbed some churros on the bridge back towards Diagon Alley and bypassed it to ride the Race in New York with Jimmy Fallon. It was easily one of our favorites.

We had 30 minutes until the cinematic light and water show after and decided against going into Diagon Alley. Instead, we got a prime spot, unknowingly on the backside of the show. It did not disappoint though! We will try to catch the whole experience from the right side today.

Easy traffic getting home to the condo, put on the second Harry Potter movie, and the kids had a long FaceTime conversation with their dad. Today we will relax, do some laundry, swim in the condo complex pool, and hit the parks in the evening cooler hours to dedicate time only to interactive wand play, shopping, and maybe a couple quick rides of our favorites.
